Welcome to Rim Country Bicycles Mountain Bike program – a fun, safe, and proven way for kids to experience mountain biking! Whether your child is brand new to the sport or already a little shredder, our program builds skills, confidence, and an appreciation for community and nature.
What Kids Will Learn:
Bicycle Safety & Maintenance Helmets are important and they must be worn at all times while in our program. Kids will learn how to check essential components like brakes, drive train, and wheels and tires. Our number one goal is safety.
Mountain Biking Skills We teach essentials like balance, braking, shifting, and navigating trails and obstacles. Control the bike and find the flow.
Confidence & Fitness As skills and fitness grow, so does self-esteem. Mountain biking helps kids stay active, build strength, and develop endurance, all while having a blast!
Connection with Nature We as Mountain bikers have a deep respect and appreciation for the natural world. For stress relief, pure enjoyment, physical and mental health, mountain biking connects us with nature. We are trail advocates and volunteers, and will encourage young riders to be a part of that community.
Friendship & Community Kids meet others who love to ride, fostering lasting friendships and a positive, encouraging environment.
