Pine Trailhead is located just south of Pine, AZ, on Highway 87. It has ample parking and a vault toilet. Popular with cyclists, hikers, and horseback riders, it connects to the Arizona Trail and is the westernmost trailhead of the Highline Trail.

Firewise Trail:

This is a short, easy trail that travels around the parking lot for about 1/4 mile. For someone who has never ridden on a trail in their entire life, this is a great introduction to turns and gentle climbing.

Lower Pineview:

This trail is fun for all levels, with a short distance (2.7 miles) and a few rocky sections. Beginners will be challenged. Rippers will have fun. The descent out of Pine Canyon is fast and furious.

Upper Pineview:

Same start as Lower Pineview, but with an added climb and a longer descent than the lower trail. Its about 3 miles.

Pine-Strawberry Loop:

This Trail utilizes Pine Canyon to Bearfoot, to Trail 15, down Two Ravens and then Bradshaw road back to the trailhead. It’s a beast. About 26 miles of rocky, technical, climbing trails. There is an early option out before you hit the gnarliest stuff on Bearfoot at Portal II, and no one will judge you for taking it except Mac.
